This lovely view presented itself to me as I climbed the small hill to Long Song Pagoda. I had had a hankering to get myself there after seeing the hilltop Buddha from the train window as I arrived into Nha Trang from Saigon (or Ho Chi Minh). It's a wonderful city, lined by a long, white stretch of beach, which locals come out in droves to experience during the hours just after sunrise or just before sunset. I heard many think we tourists are a little mad to be out on the scorching sand mid-day. At any rate, there is so much more to Nha Trang than just the beach.... Taken August, 1997 on Fuji Film with Nikon F3.
