Another classic temple of Bagan. For an authentic experience, explore off the beaten track by bike to see some of the smaller temples. Nonetheless, be sure to spot all 4 of the Buddha figures inside.

Note the facial features of the 4 Buddhas - the original ones have a strong Indian influence whereas the later copies show more Chinese influence

Ask your guide to switch off the artificial lights momentarily so you can experience the natural spotlight on the Buddha as the architecture had originally envisioned. You'd floored by the drama.
