The Auckland War Memorial Museum is a museum in Auckland, New Zealand. It is one of New Zealand's most important museums and war memorials. The displays in the museum are mostly about New Zealand history, both natural history and military history.
The 84-year-old museum houses the most comprehensive Maori and Pacific Islander art collection in the Southern Hemisphere: graphic textiles; war canoes; even whare (traditional Maori meeting houses).
One of the best museums I visited in the world. The historic part and the geographical living periods are must visit ????. Fo museum lovers, 3 hours is not enough to see everything.
Go at sunset and enjoy some fantastic photo opportunities across the city and of the classic old museum with the coloured lights - one of the most beautiful buildings and surrounds in the city
