Incredibly beautiful park ~20min from downtown Arlington. Busy, but great trails lining the river which are not to be missed. ~1.5-2hr for a hike along the water, looping back to the Visitor Center

A cool park to go to with your family or friends. There are place were you can eat and walk. The fee is not much. Most of the time there is parking. The park is the most full on weekends in the summer

Enjoy the majestic outdoors at this scenic park just outside of DC. There are 3 outlooks for prime viewing, many trails and picnic areas and a helpful visitor center with an interactive museum.

Perfect place for hiking and/or relaxing...go early...$5 for entrance and cash is quicker...Instead bringing lunch try BBQ, it is more fun...restrooms are miserable but who cares.

The trails are challenging but always fulfilling because eventually you are going to see the well-known twenty foot waterfalls. The serenity is priceless and all trails are wheelchair friendly.
