The guards hired by ASI have become intrusive :/ Its OK that you're trying to stop all those young couples from getting too comfortable but they've started to disturb genuine visitors and tourists

Built in1724 there are three instruments within the observatory of Jantar Mantar in New Delhi: the Samrat Yantra, the Jayaprakash & the Misra Yantra with primary purpose to compile astronomical tables

Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II between 1727 & 1734. Its name is derived from jantar ("instrument"), and Mantar ("calculation").

You cannot miss the stall that serves South Indian here. Right opposite Anna's humble abode. So cheap and so much satisfaction. Good size of idlis and Vadas. Also, the suji upma is brilliant.
